Mine doesn't understand the concept of shade, he can't get to grips with an umbrella either, he'd rather just be indoors with the door open.

My spoiled darlings are resting in the air conditioning! How rough is that!?! Of course, they're just "pretend" dogs...your guy is a "real" dog!
